What is Heat Transfer Vinyl (HTV)?

Heat Transfer Vinyl (HTV) is a method where designs are cut from colored vinyl and pressed onto garments using heat. It’s perfect for simple designs like names, numbers, and single-color logos. HTV is durable, vibrant, and great for small orders or personalization.

What is Direct to Film (DTF)?

DTF (Direct to Film) is a full-color printing method where your design is printed onto a special film and then heat pressed onto the garment. It allows for detailed logos, gradients, and multiple colors—making it ideal for complex or high-quality designs.

What the difference between HTV & DTF?

The main difference comes down to design style:

  • HTV is best for simple, bold designs (like names and numbers)
  • DTF is best for detailed, full-color artwork and logos

Both methods are durable and long-lasting, but DTF offers more flexibility for complex designs, while HTV is great for clean, minimal looks.

What is the pricing & cost for the heat pressing services?

Pricing varies based on the design size, number of colors, and quantity ordered.

  • Simple HTV designs are usually more affordable but starts at $10 – $25 per side
  • DTF prints may cost more due to full-color detail but starts at $10 – $25 per side

We offer competitive pricing with no minimums, and bulk discounts are available for larger orders. For exact pricing, request a quote or use our design tool.

Is there a minimum order size?

No—there is no minimum order. Whether you need a single custom piece or a large batch, we’ve got you covered.

What Types Of Items Can Be Customized?

We can customize a wide range of apparel including t-shirts, hoodies, sweatshirts, tote bags, and more. If you’re unsure about a specific item, feel free to reach out—we’re happy to help!

When should I choose heat transfer instead of screen printing?

Heat transfer is perfect for:

  • Small orders (no minimums)
  • Full-color or detailed designs
  • Names & numbers (sports jerseys)

For larger bulk orders, screen printing may be more cost-effective.

How durable are heat transfers?

Our heat transfers are made to last and hold up well with proper care. They won’t crack or peel easily when applied correctly and washed properly.

Can you print full-color designs or photos?

Yes! Heat transfer (especially DTF) allows for full-color prints, gradients, and detailed artwork that other methods can’t achieve.

Can I see a proof before production?

Sure! We carefully review every design before production. For custom or detailed orders, we may provide a digital proof to confirm sizing, placement, and overall appearance. For online orders, please put in special instruction or customer notes if you want a final proof. If anything needs adjustment, we’ll contact you before printing to make sure everything looks perfect.
